Located on the Aston University campus, Aston Conference Centre is a busy conference and hotel venue offering 19 meeting and event spaces for up to 220 delegates, alongside over 160 guest bedrooms. Excelsior, working alongside Evolve Shopfitting, was appointed to refurbish the first-floor male and female washrooms, replacing end-of-life facilities in line with Aston University standards while improving privacy, accessibility and compliance with Building Regulations Approved Documents Part T and Part M.
The Solution
The refurbishment features Excelsior’s Flush 30 cubicle system, a premium flush-fronted solution manufactured from High Pressure Laminate bonded to a durable 30mm moisture-resistant core. Designed for high-traffic environments, the system combines strength and longevity with a sleek, modern appearance, enhanced by extruded aluminium door and pilaster edges. The cubicles were finished in Pfleiderer Light Grey, creating a clean and contemporary aesthetic.
