Case Study

Project Summary:

The project at Liverpool Football Club involved creating premium washroom facilities in key areas such as the dugouts, the Founders' Area, staff WC's, and fan restrooms.

Buckingham Group required a partner capable of delivering high-quality, durable, and aesthetically refined solutions tailored to each space's unique demands. Excelsior, with a rich history in washroom design, manufacturing, and installation since the 1970s, emerged as the natural choice for the job. Their decades of experience, combined with a proven track record in delivering bespoke, long-lasting washroom solutions, made them ideally suited to meet the club's requirements. With a deep understanding of the importance of both function and form, Excelsior was perfectly positioned to ensure that the washrooms would not only enhance the club's facilities but also endure for years to come, no matter the outcome of the games.

The Challenge

Buckingham Group faced the task of finding a reliable washroom installer to meet the unique needs of Liverpool Football Club. This wasn't just about installing functional spaces, but about creating high-quality, customized washrooms for key areas such as the dugouts, the Founders' Area, staff WC's, and fan restrooms.

Each of these areas required a specific design approach, with particular attention to detail during the planning stages. The finishes needed to be not only visually seamless but also durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of match day, whether in moments of victory or defeat. The challenge was clear: to deliver washrooms that combined both style and long-lasting performance.

The Solution

To meet the unique needs of Liverpool Football Club, we designed a bespoke version of our Planar range, tailored specifically to suit the requirements of each individual area. In spaces where an elegant, flush-fronted facade was needed, we implemented our Flush44 system to achieve a sleek and modern aesthetic.

Additionally, we incorporated baby changing areas and installed luxurious Magma marble vanity units, adding a touch of sophistication. Throughout the project, we maintained a seamless colour palette, blending teaks, beiges, creams and white marbles to create a cohesive, refined look that complemented the overall design vision. This attention to detail ensured that each space not only met functional needs but also embodied a high level of design integrity.
