Pens Meadow Primary School development is a £15 million investment by Dudley Council. Working with Interclass, and in partnership with the council, the Excelsior’s installation required high-quality, durable and child-friendly fitted furniture to support the delivery of specialist teaching and everyday school activities.
The Solution
The project centred on creating practical, robust and visually cohesive storage and work areas throughout the new school building. Our team manufactured and installed:
Full Kitchen-Run Cupboards and Drawers
A complete run of cabinetry was designed for the school’s kitchen space, providing organised storage and an efficient working layout. The units were built to withstand daily use while maintaining a clean, modern appearance. High-quality materials and hardware ensure long-term reliability and effortless operation.
Bespoke ‘Teaching Cabinets’ with Integrated Sinks
Within the classrooms, we supplied custom-built teaching cabinets designed to support hands-on learning. Each unit featured integrated sinks, accessible storage, and durable worktops, enabling teachers to carry out practical activities with ease.
Desks and Work Areas
We installed robust, well-finished desks to create flexible teaching and learning and office zones. Designed for comfort and durability, the desks complement the cabinetry and contribute to a cohesive overall aesthetic throughout the school.
