How much does a washroom installation cost?
Understanding Pricing at Excelsior.
When designing and installing high-quality and efficient washroom systems, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach. At Excelsior Panelling Systems, we pride ourselves on delivering bespoke washroom solutions that are tailored to the specific needs, environments and budgets of each individual project. Whether fitting out a small changing room or a multi-floor commercial facility, we ensure durable, functional and beautifully finished installations within your budget.
With our completely bespoke ranges, comes completely bespoke pricing.
Unlike off the shelf solutions, our products are designed and manufactured specifically for the needs of the individual project. That means, we don’t offer a ‘fixed per-unit’ price – instead, we work with you to understand your project and create a bespoke installation, with a bespoke price, to meet your needs.
Our unique prices are created by considering your:
- Project size and scope,
- Design and performance requirements,
- Budget constraints,
- Material and finish preferences,
- Regulatory and specialist considerations.
Our bespoke pricing strategy ensures that our customers get the installation solution that is fit for purpose, whilst ensuring it best meets your project budget.
Common pricing considerations:
Material: When deciding which range will best suit your project, it is important to consider the core material. High-quality, moisture resistant cubicles are always recommended in washroom environments. To ensure a long-lasting installation, consider the probable foot traffic and usage of the cubicles when deciding on a material. Excelsior’s cubicle ranges are typically made from 1 of 3 materials, based on environment (wet or dry), intended uses and budget. Our cubicles are made from Solid Grade Laminate, High Pressure Laminate, or Melamine Faced Chipboard. The core material can impact the price of the installation, with more durable, water-resistant core materials costing more than others.

Size/Design: Similarly, height of cubicles can play an important role in pricing. Full height cubicles extend from floor to ceiling and offer maximum privacy for the user. Creating an enclosed space, full height cubicles are great for high-end premium feel offices, unisex/gender-neutral washrooms, and environments where user discretion is top priority. Our Flush 44, Flush 30, Planar, T-Line and Skyline Ranges are available in full height. Standard height cubicles, which leave a gap at the floor and ceiling, can be a more cost-effective option. These cubicles offer more ventilation, simplified cleaning and increased maintenance access. Often standard height cubicles are the preferred choice in high-traffic commercial settings like schools, retail and offices where ease of upkeep and airflow are important.
Understanding our product range pricing.
Whilst we don’t publish fixed prices, due to our flexibility and adaptability to bespoke needs and design, our product ranges do fall into pricing brackets to help guide your decision making.
Our premium ranges include Flush 44 and Flush 30. These ranges represent the best in washroom design and performance. With flush-fronted, seamless finishes, integrated hardware and robust core materials, Flush 44 and Flush 30 are ideal for high-end commercial spaces, prestigious environments, or anywhere aesthetics and longevity are a priority. The core materials of these ranges are long lasting and durable under heavy usage, making them a great investment.
Option Range is Excelsior’s most budget-friendly offering, designed to deliver quality without compromising on budget. The Option range is our most cost-effective solution, with Melamine Faced Chipboard core material, it is ideal for projects where installations are intended for lighter use and in dry environments, including offices and commercial spaces.
Our other ranges, including Planar, T-Line, Mariner, Skyline, Senator, HydroSq2 and Select, sit within mid-range pricing.
Choosing your Washroom Accessories
Finally, it’s important to remember that a complete washroom installation isn’t just about the major fixtures like toilets, basins, and partitions. The finishing touches—such as toilet roll holders, soap dispensers, paper towel units, hand dryers, mirrors, and waste bins—contribute to the overall cost of the project. Premium finishes, branded dispensers, or touchless technology, for example, can increase pricing, whereas more basic options may help keep costs down. FAQs
What is the strongest material for a toilet cubicle?
Excelsior would recommend Solid Grade Laminate for projects that need an installation that is durable and hard wearing. Particularly in wet or high traffic areas, SGL is tough and impact resistant, making it the suitable choice if a strong installation is needed.
Our SGL ranges include Skyline, Planar, Mariner, HydroSq, T-Line, Senator, Harlequin and Peardrop.
