The Challenge
Propose a robust system suitable for an area subject to high levels of moisture and traffic.
Provide a system with clean lines and easily wipeable surfaces.
Working within a small space create a vanity to optimise the user experience. Provide a generous counter to comfortably hold the user's washbag and other essentials whilst they are using the facilities.
Include space for mirrors, soap dispensers with lighting fitted into a bespoke bulkhead to ensure the user has enough light to enjoy the space.
The Solution
Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) has been used on the entire project. SGL is a self-supporting material providing high levels of durability which is impervious to water penetration. SGL is available in large sheet sizes which proved to be a perfect solution for this project having been used to clad some of the walls to create clean lines and wipeable surfaces.
A profiled end panel to the vanity opens the space and eliminating the pinch point at the entrance to the cubicles.
